Panchakarma means Shodhan karma with purva karma.
Shodhan karma means removing exaggerated dosha from body. It is useful in maintaining health as well as in treating diseases. So Panchakarma plays very important role in Ayurvedic treatment.
Panchakarma includes Vaman, Virechan, Basti, Nasya, Raktamokshan with Purva Karma like Snehan and Swedan.
Seasonal Panchakarma (Panchakarma procedures for Healthy people for prevention of diseases in specific rutu) is carried out in the department.
VIP Panchakarma section has been started.
