Seth Sakharam Nemchand Jain Aushadhalaya Trust, Solapur
Seth Sakharam Nemchand Doshi established Seth Sakharam Nemchand Jain Aushadhalaya Trust in 1917 to provide pure vegetarian ayurvedic medicines without alcohol as per jain principles. ln Jain Shastra there are four Donations, most important one is “Aushadhdan". Ayurveda is an ancient science. It has its own medicine preparations. The trust started with OPD section and Rasashala in 1917. lt continued successfully till 1956 and expanded into a Hospital with various facilities at new location in the heart of the city. The trust developed Seth Govindji Raoji Ayurved College in 1962, which is affiliated to Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi & Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
Vision :
Establishing highest standards of education and research in the field of Ayurved and provide health care through Ayurved for the benefit of mankind.
Aims and Objectives:
• To provide all possible support to promote research and development activities in Ayurved.
• To impart knowledge and not merely information to render valuable service in the medical field.
• To make sincere efforts for the all-round development of the personality of the students.
• To provide various opportunities to the students for the cultivation of their artistic, academic and athletic talents and to offer them every opportunity for flowering of their talents.
• To strive to maintain cordial relationship between the students and the teachers for the progress of all concerned.
• To incorporate roll of ayurved in mainstreaming of public health system for the benefit of mankind.
