Introduction
The Prasutitantra & Streerog department functions as comprehensive academic unit for both Under graduation & Post graduation teaching, focusing on the development of theoretical clarity, clinical understanding and research orientation among student in Ayurvedic obstetrics & Gynecology along with modern principles. Department works on domains Including Critical understanding of management of various conditions of women across all stages of life including prenatal & postnatal conditions & various gynecological disorders as per the need of society.

Mission
1. Education Excellence – To Educate students to understand the comprehensive theoretical & clinical knowledge of Prasutitantra & Streerog and its application from Ayurveda & modern science perspective
2. Research & Innovation – To encourage Students in clinical research on Ayurveda formulations and therapies for gynecological disorders and to promote interdisciplinary studies with modern gynecology.
3. Clinical training and Patient care – To expertise students in professional skills of obstetrics and gynecology offering hands on training with safe motherhood practices including prenatal and post natal care and medico legal aspects.
4. Preservation and modernization of Ayurveda – To integrate modern diagnostic tools with Ayurveda protocols to preserve traditional Ayurveda wisdom while adapting it to contemporary healthcare needs.
Introduction
The Rachana Sharir (Human Anatomy) department, as part of the BAMS curriculum, focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the human body’s structure from both an Ayurvedic and modern scientific perspective. It integrates the gross and microscopic anatomy of the human body with the ancient Ayurvedic principles such as Marma (vital points) and Srotas (channels).
