Introduction

Swasthyarakshan deals with Ayurvedic lifestyle and maintenance of the health. Swasthyarakshan mainly emphasizes on proper daily regimen as well as seasonal regimen, day-to-day living like morning routine, cleanliness, evening routine, night routine etc. including Sadvritta. It trains in personal hygiene, prevention of contagious diseases, preventive and promotive aspects of health.

Yoga Unit attached to this Department conducting Yogasanas for students as well as patients. It aims at delivering accountable and responsive health care to reduce disease burden and to prevent lifestyle disorders in all age groups. Bearing in mind that every patient has unique needs and food preferences, department ensure that the food tolerances, ethnic, and religious needs and therapeutic requirements of all patients are met. Individualized and tailor made nutritional care is provided to all patients. Adverse effects of incompatible food (Virudhanna) is introduced to patient.
